Who We Are
An Independent Cornwell Franchise, Run From Edinburg
Tool Co is a locally owned Cornwell Quality Tools franchise. That means two things at once. The tools on the truck are Cornwell's line, backed by Cornwell's warranty process. And the business itself is independent: the route, the truck, and the relationship with your shop are ours to run.
We're based in Edinburg and run the route along I-2 / US-83 to Pharr, San Juan, Alamo, and Weslaco. Commercial shops are the whole customer list: repair shops, tire shops, fleet yards, diesel and trailer service, and the technicians who work in them.
Plain Terms
What the Words on This Site Mean
A mobile tool dealer has its own vocabulary. Here's what we mean when we use it.
- Authorized Cornwell dealer
- Tool Co is licensed by Cornwell Quality Tools to sell its line and to help with its warranty process. Tool Co is not Cornwell corporate. It's the local franchise that runs the truck.
- The route
- The set path the truck drives through Edinburg, Pharr, San Juan, Alamo, and Weslaco. Shops on the route get a stop on a set day.
- A stop
- Your shop, on the route, on your day. The truck pulls up, the door opens, and your crew shops from the shelves without leaving the bay.
- Regular Shop Visits
- The same dealer coming back on the same day. Orders from the last visit ride in, and anything you ran out of gets restocked.
- Warranty & Service Assistance
- When a Cornwell tool breaks, we help you handle Cornwell's warranty and service process from the truck. No trip to a counter.
- Tool Financing & Payment Options
- Ways to pay for a tool purchase that fit how a shop's money comes in. Worked out in person with your dealer, never on a form.
- Get on the route
- What we call getting started. Call, text, or send the form, and we add your shop as a stop.
Experience, Not a Founding Date
30+ Years of Combined Experience Among Our Tool Dealers
That number is the honest kind. It's the years our tool dealers have spent on trucks and at shop doors, added up across the team. It isn't a founding date, and it isn't a claim about how long the business has been around.
What it buys you at the truck is judgment. Which impact fits a diesel bay and which one is overkill. When a roll cab is worth the money and when a cart will do. What to try before you call a tool broken. That's the part of a tool dealer you can't order from a catalog.
